Charles Ivan Sulkowski, a former resident of Novi, MI now of Cushing, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the age of 73 years.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel.
The son of the late Oscar Sulkowski and Ida (Blake) Sulkowski, Charles was born on June 14, 1938 in Salem, MI. He was reared and educated in Salem, attending Salem High School. He spent most of his life in Novi, MI and was a truck driver for over 26 years.
Charles was united in marriage to Ruby Bryant on December 8, 1976 in Kansas City, KS. They moved to Cushing in 2009.
In his spare time, Charles loved listening to country and western music.
Survivors include his wife Ruby of the home; three sons; five daughters; two sisters, Jeannette Sebring and Wilma Sanders; one brother, Sam Sulkowski; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one son, Harry VanCamp and one brother, Hank Sulkowski.
