Jana Kennedy Graves passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at the age of 45 years.
The daughter of Mike Kennedy and Carolyn Bugg Kennedy, Jana was born on May 10, 1966 in Cushing and was raised and educated here, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1984.
She was united in marriage to Doug Graves on May 24, 1986 and to this union two sons, Michael and Cole, were born.
Jana had worked as a pharmacy tech at Ken’s Pharmacy for over 13 years prior to working at Walmart Pharmacy for over 4 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, spending time with her family, swimming and was an avid Oklahoma State University fan.
Survivors include her husband Doug Graves of the home; two sons, Michael Graves and his wife Nicki of Stillwater and Cole Graves of Stillwater; her parents, Mike and Carolyn Kennedy of Oklahoma City; one sister Susan Kennedy of Moore, OK; one brother Stephen Kennedy of Oklahoma City; her mother and father in law, Mary and Luther Solomon of Cushing, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at 2 P.M. in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Moore, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday night from 5 – 7 in the Floyd Family Center.
