Carol Ann Stevens, age 55 a rural route Lincoln County resident, passed away on February 16, 2012 at her home after a long illness.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, OK.  Brother Phillip Pruitt and Brother Tony Imry will officiate.  Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.  Graveside services have been entrusted to Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Home, Tulare, CA and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2012 in the Tulare District Cemetery, Tulare, CA.

Carol Ann Stevens was born to the late Harvey and Gladys (Overacker) Murch on March 17, 1956 in Visalia, California.  She grew up in Tulare and Visalia, California.  Carol attended school in Outside Creek Elementary and Exeter High School.  She married Harold N. Stevens Jr. on September 7, 1973.  They were married 38 years.  To this union, five children were born.  She loved being a mother, grandmother.  Carol also enjoyed being a homemaker and traveling.

She was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on November 29, 1975 in Alturas, California. 

Carol is survived by her husband Harold of the home, son Tracy of the home, three daughters Robyn Edwards of Tryon, Kimberly Wright of Tulare, Ca., Brittany Hinkle and husband Wyatt of Wichita, Kansas, several beloved grandchildren, a sister Judy Ward and husband Randy of Tahlequah, Ok, three brothers Charles Murch of Goshen, Ca., Gary Murch of Cushing, and Dennis Murch and wife Janet of Tryon, two brothers-in-law James LaRue and his wife Shanda and Durward Stevens and his wife Thelma; four sisters-in-law, Sharon Smith and her husband Bud, Mona Lybarger, Tawana Partridge, and Sonja Billingsly and her husband Marty; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Gladys Murch, two sisters Linda Murch and Vickie LaRue, an infant brother Jerry Murch, beloved daughter Carrie Ann Stevens and one granddaughter, Torrie Danae Hinkle.

She will be greatly missed by her family, brethren and friends.
