Some of the property taken from the Monday morning burglary was recovered yesterday by Detective Harp and Officer Brandon Hise. The investigation related to the burglary is still ongoing.

“I want to commend the good police work done by MPO Sappington, Officer Piatt, Detective Harp, Officer Brandon Hise, and Deputy Chief Folden Monday,” Chief Terry Brannon said. “The officers did a very good job working this case from the beginning given the inclement weather in the city,” Brannon Said. “The good investigative work by your officers resulted in three solid arrests, some of the stolen property being recovered from the burglary, which will lessen the financial impact on our victim, and a gun being removed from our streets. Once again, I hope the work done in this case will send a strong message that we are committed to serving our citizens, and holding those we believe are responsible, based on the evidence, are held accountable, “Brannon said.
