Faye Holloway Frazier was lifted by the wings of angles into the arms of her beloved Jesus Christ this early morn January 20, 2012 at the age of 94 years, nine months and eight days. She is at peace.
Faye was born on April 12, 1917 in Camp, Fulton County , Arkansas to Marshall Bartee Holloway and Tina Melvina Simpson. She attended schools in Camp, Arkansas and Thayer , Missouri . Faye married Perry Wesley Frazier on May 12, 1935 in Thayer , Oregon County, Missouri . To this union was born a daughter Shirley Faye and a son James Wesley.
Perry and Faye made homes in West Plains and Springfield , Missouri ; Stillwater , Ada , Henryetta and Yukon , Oklahoma . They were active members of the Church of Christ in each of those communities. Perry passed January 15, 1984.
On December 6, 1988 Faye married Louis Stanton Reynolds of El Reno, Oklahoma. They enjoyed gardening together and great travels. Louis passed November 15, 1998.
After the loss of her daughter in 2005, Faye moved to Cushing to be with her son James and family.
Faye was loved by all and will be missed by many.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, both younger sisters Pauline Spear and Estelle Claude, both her husbands, her daughter Shirley Faye Devinney and one grand son James Wesley Frazier, Jr.
She is survived by her son James W. Frazier and wife Sallie of Cushing, Oklahoma ; grandsons Cary Simonds and wife Donette of Houston Texas, Keith Simonds and wife Catherine of Noble, Oklahoma, Phillip Frazier and wife Chasity of Amarillo, Texas, and James Devinney and wife Laura of Dallas; and one granddaughter Robin and husband Rick Allford of Amarillo, Texas; nineteen great-grand children and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Sunday January 22, 2012 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing. Mr. Wendyl Heffington will officiate. Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park, Cushing.
