(Stillwater) – A First Degree Manslaughter charge has been filed against a Ripley man in connection with the traffic death of a Perkins man. Bobby Lee Webb, 27, was charged in Payne County District Court Monday with manslaughter in the death of Robby Quinn Fowble. Fowble was killed about 2:00 AM April 19th when he was thrown from a vehicle driven by Webb.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol alleges that Webb was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident at the intersection of State Highway 51 and 108 North of Ripley. The patrol says that Webb was the driver of a a pickup truck carrying six people that ran through a stop sign and rolled several times, killing Fowble, who was thrown from the vehicle.

The patrol says Fowble died at the scene of the crash shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Fowble was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown through the passenger side vehicle window.
