Richard Allen Wright, age 48 of Yale, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Fairview , Oklahoma . Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Lawson Cemetery , Yale. Brother Randell Newby will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Ok.
Richard was born on May 13, 1963 in Klamath Falls , Oregon to Richard Arnold and Jean Elizabeth (Freeze) Wright. He grew up in Newell , California and graduated from Tulelake High School in 1982. After graduation, he worked in the fields during harvest. Richard loved to hunt squirrel, bobcat and mountain lions. He was an outstanding guitar player and loved to sing. He was musically talented. He moved to Yale in 2002 to be near his family. Richard worked for K&R Builders as a torch hand for the past couple of months. He loved spending time with his children. Richard was very family oriented.
Richard is survived by his wife Michelle of the home, sons Rick Wright of Tulelake, Ca., Seth Wright of the home, step-son Matthew Edwards of Yale, daughter Jessica Wright of the home, step-daughter Vanessa Edwards of Ft. Smith, Ar., brothers Gary Malone of Yale, Steve Wright of Yale, sister Deborah Hope of Natural Dam, Ar.
He was preceded in death by his dad and brother Scott Malone.
