(Cushing, Okla.)  Typical for most girls her age, nine-year-old Hailey Lacy says her favorite part of winning the title of Cushing Rodeo Queen, 2010 was “getting the crown.”  Hailey will be wearing that crown when she takes her last ride around the arena as queen, Saturday, July 9th.

Hailey says she loves to ride horses and attributes her love of riding and horses to when her daddy bought her a pony for her second birthday.  She has been riding ever since and is determined to become a veterinarian some day and have a “farm full of animals.”  Hailey enjoys competing in the Drumright Playdays and says her favorite event is barrel racing.

Next year Hailey will be a fourth grader at Oak Grove School.  In her spare time, she loves playing sports – and yes – riding her horse.

Hailey is the daughter of Ronnie & Becky Collins, Drumright.  Her grandparents are Johnny and Vicky Lacy of Cushing.
