Albert Roy Stoddard, I, 64, of Cushing, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.  He was born on Nov. 11, 1946 in Salt Lake City to William and Kathryn (Brewer) Stoddard.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing.  Inurnment will be in the Underwood Cemetery of Yale, OK.

Albert grew up in California.   After he graduated from High School, Albert enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps.  Albert worked in the Oilfield for a number of years.  He also drove a truck and hauled freight for Miller Trucking.  He was a certified welder and carpenter. 

He was an artist and was also a longtime friend of Bill W.  Albert was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife-Connie.

Albert is survived by Son and Daughter-In-Law, Albert and Carolyn Stoddard of Enid;

Daughters, Sandra Watkins of Sherman, Tx, April Stoddard of Anna, TX; Step-Daughters Kara Turner and Stormy Zimmerman; brother and Sister-In-Law, Roger and Dedrah Stoddard of Enid; one sister, Faye Henry and husband James of Barstow, CA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
