(Cushing, Okla.) This morning, (Friday, May 20) Cushing’s water treatment plant experienced some mechanical difficulties that have caused it to go temporarily offline. Currently, our water supply is limited to the water currently in storage. City crews are working to resolve the problem as quickly possible to restore service at the water treatment plant.
In the interim, citizens are being asked to do the following:
-Conserve water as much as possible
-Limit water use to drinking and general household use (laundry, showers)
-Do not operate sprinkler systems
-Do not fill swimming pools
