(Cushing, Okla.) Friday afternoon, March 4th, 2011, Cushing Police Officer Dakotah Simpson, Major Tully Folden, MPO Bill McCarty and Eddie Eagle participated in the National Rifle Associations “Gun Safety with Eddie Eagle” celebration at Harmony Elementary School.
Over the past month, the students of Harmony Elementary have been learning about the proper safety procedures and actions they should take if they see a gun.
Major Folden said, “I would like to commend the Harmony Elementary School Staff for continuing to educate their students in firearms safety.”
