Cushing Christian Church, located at 302 S. Linwood, is hosting the first Cushing Domestic Violence Task Force meeting this Thursday, March 10th at 12 o’clock noon. The meeting will be held to discuss the community response to domestic violence in Cushing. Light refreshments will be served.
Mary Gibbons, Cushing’s domestic violence advocate for Stillwater Domestic Services, is inviting all interested parties to attend this meeting. “It is our hope that the meeting will serve to facilitate communication and collaboration within the community in order to build awareness and promote the safety of victims and their children,” Gibbons said.
