It’s that time of the year again – the time when people from the community come together to give thanks and to serve those who may or may not have family or friends to celebrate the holiday with.
The 25th annual Cushing Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 25th) at the Cushing High School Field house. Turkey, dressing and all the fixin’s will be available – not only for those coming to dinner at the field house – but to those who may be home bound or unable to travel to share in the festivities. To order a meal delivery, call 225-2658 and leave a message (if necessary). Be sure to include your name, phone number, address and the number of meals needed.
Anyone who would like to help with the preparation of the meal on Wednesday evening or Thursday or would like to deliver meals, may call 225-1830 or 225-5344.
The serving line will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come early for coffee and visiting at 10 a.m.!
