(Stillwater, Okla.) — An inmate at the Cimarron Correction Facility has been charged with placing fecal matter on a guard at the private prison in Cushing on July 22.
Clifford Hiler, 28, has been incarcerated for about a year serving a seven-year prison term for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in Blaine County in 2009, state Department of Corrections records show.
He previously served a two-year prison term for transferring body fluids on a city employee in Blaine County and aggravated assault and battery, both in 2007, DOC records show.
He also previously served a five-year sentence for passing a forged instrument in 2002 and car theft in 2001, both in Blaine County, DOC records show.
He also has a conviction for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in Tillman County in 2001, DOC records show.
If convicted of placing a bodily fluid on a correctional officer at the Cushing prison, Hiler could be given an additional two-year prison term, according to the charge filed Thursday in Payne County.
