Randy Wilburn Edwards, a Cushing area resident, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 in Cushing, OK at the age of 53 years.
Graveside services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing and will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park, Cushing, OK. The Edwards family will be greeting friends and family at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home between 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2010.
The son of Lonnie Edwards and Bessie Lucille (Brannum) Edwards, Randy was born on December 12, 1956 in Artesia, New Mexico. Randy and his family eventually moved to Cushing where he graduated from Cushing High School.
Randy was last employed as a welder’s apprentice for Enbridge. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Randy is survived by his wife Vicki of the home; two sons, Nick Edwards and Jesse Edwards both of Cushing; one daughter, Shiann Edwards of Cushing; two brothers, Dayle Edwards and his wife Donna of New Mexico and Jerry Edwards and his wife Cindy of Chelsea, OK; one sister, Sandy Johnson and her husband Jim of Weatherford, OK; father, Lonnie Edwards of Cushing; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Edwards and one brother, Larry Edwards.
