(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Cushing man was charged Monday with possessing methamphetamine, endeavoring to manufacture the illegal drug at his residence in the 7300 block of N. Mt. Vernon Road, concealing a stolen welder, possessing 19 guns including two assault rifles, and possessing scales, syringes and smoking pipes, all on Friday.
Jonathan Lee Segura, 30, was arrested Friday and released from the Payne County Jail Saturday after posting $7,500 bail, a sheriff’s spokesman told KUSH Monday.
If convicted of the five-count charge investigated by the Payne County Sheriff’s Office, Segura could be incarcerated for 36 years and fined $16,500, according to documents filed Monday by prosecutor Tom Lee.
A year ago, Segura was placed on two years’ probation and given $700 in fines and assessments along with an order to perform 50 hours of community service for possessing methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and an open bottle of liquor in his pickup in Stillwater on Christmas Day 2008, court records show.
