If you visit the Medical and Surgical wing of Cushing Regional Hospital, you may notice it is sporting a new sign honoring one its great supporters – SpiritBank. Located on the third floor, the newly constructed wing was made possible by the continued support of businesses and people like Spirit Bank.
“We appreciate very much all you do,” CRH Foundation president LeeRoy Kalka said.
SpiritBank has been a long-time friend of the CRH Foundation. In 1992, they made their first pledge to the Foundation. In 2007, they continued their support by pledging $50,000 to help improve the quality of health care in the Cimarron Valley Region. It was with that pledge, the new wing now bears their name.
In addition to their pledge, SpiritBank has supported the Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon held each October and the annual Charity Golf Event held in May.
“It would be impossible to continue the work of the Foundation if we did not have friends such as SpiritBank,” Marian Gilkerson said. “They have always been very generous and a team player.”
Gilkerson is the executive director of the Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation.
