(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Stillwater man remains jailed on $200,000 bond on a charge of raping a 15-year-old girl after the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported that his DNA was on the girl’s underwear, an affidavit alleged.
Gregory Lee German, 20, could be incarcerated for five years to life without parole if convicted of second-degree rape of the girl, court records show. German has been scheduled to appear before a judge on Dec. 3 on that felony as well as a misdemeanor count of assault and battery of the girl.
An arrest warrant was issued for German last week after Stillwater Police Detective Inspector Greg Miller was notified “OSBI had completed the comparison and analysis of the panties and the buccal swab kit from Gregory German,” an affidavit alleged.
The girl had been at a friend’s residence when German, a relative of the friend, arrived on Jan. 9, the detective inspector’s affidavit alleged.
“Gregory German was drinking several different alcoholic beverages and using other types of intoxicants while he was at the residence,” the affidavit alleged.
“Gregory German repeatedly sprayed an inhalant in (the girl’s) face in order to get her high,” the affidavit alleged. The girl “told him to stop, but he continued to spray the substance in her face,” the affidavit alleged.
When the girl went into an unoccupied bedroom, German and another male, who was intoxicated and began vomiting, followed her, the affidavit alleged.
“Gregory German grabbed (the girl) by the throat, choked her and threw her to the floor. Gregory German continued to spray the inhalant into (the girl’s) face until she was extremely disoriented,” the affidavit alleged.
The girl remembered that German removed her shirt and pants, the affidavit alleged. The girl remembered that German sexually assaulted her, the affidavit alleged.
The next morning when the girl awoke, she “discovered bruising to her throat and thighs,” the affidavit alleged. She saw that her panties had semen stains in them, the affidavit alleged. That day, she spoke to her mother about it, the affidavit alleged.
When the detective inspector located German on May 16, he denied having intimate or sexual contact with the girl, but agreed to provide a DNA sample through the use of a buccal swab kit that was submitted with the girl’s underwear to the OSBI for comparison and analysis, the affidavit alleged.
