It’s a fabulous week of super music for fiddles, guitars, cellos, mandolins, basses, and more – even tabla drums! Pick your instrument(s) – great fiddle/violin coaches of course, and for guitar, Jim Garling, Jack Boydstun, and Bob Cross will teach guitar the entire weekend, such fun! Other focus groups now include mandolin with Russ Weeks, cello with Judy Jones, bass with Rosie Gorell, spoons with Shirley Adama, tabla drums with David Karnes, more! Your request is our command – we have all string instrument coaches ready for banjo, dobro, etc. Just let us know your instrument – we have coaches & fun for you!

Friday, Aug. 31 is the kickoff party at Snider’s Camp, with yummy barbecue dinner and lots of jamming. Meet old and new friends and practice up for a great weekend of learning and playing. Several groups are featured entertainment, and you can sign up for the Open Stage if you feel like it. This is a great time to try out your new tunes! Sat. evening is also lakeside at Snider’s Camp for a fish fry, a fun fiddle contest, and lots more.
Sept 1 and 2, the Grove Civic Center is cool and comfy, the place for the workshops and master classes. All levels and ages can sign up! It’s an inspiring weekend filled with tips for better playing and help with individual questions. Fiddler/violinist Jana Jae started this years ago, and it is one of the very best – and affordable! You can camp at Snider’s RV park for $12 or stay in a local motel. Take home new tunes, fresh ideas for your own playing. This is a blast!
