Monday evening, Cushing police officers Randy Evans and Jerrod Livergood welcomed local Cub Scout Pack 3210 to the police department for a facility tour and equipment demonstration. Also accompanying the scouts were many parents.

The local scout pack toured the police facility, which included the jail, 911 call center, police squad room, and the court room. The scouts were also shown how the Taser M-26 functioned. Prior to leaving, the scouts were given a host of age appropriate public safety material, and a brief talk about what to do if they find a gun.
