(Stillwater) — A former Cushing couple, who now reportedly live in Maricopa, Arizona, were charged Friday with illegally removing a mortgaged SUV and trailer from Payne County without first obtaining written consent from the Bank of Cushing.
Rodney Shane Alleman, 35, and Jenny Renee Alleman, 32, are alleged to have removed a 1990 Chevolet Suburban and a 10-foot red aluminum cargo trailer from Payne County on May 11, in which the Bank of Cushing had a security interest.
If convicted of unlawful removal of mortgaged property, the Allemans could each be given as much as a three-year prison term and a $500 fine, according to court documents filed Friday by Payne County Assistant District Attorney Charles Rogers.
