(Cushing, Okla.) Hooves will be flying, and maybe a few riders, on Saturday evening at 6 o’clock as locals “saddle up” on the backs of donkeys and play basketball to raise money for Project Graduation. This fun, family entertainment has the potential to raise a lot of money towards this year’s Project Graduation goal of $16,000.
You’re apt to see Cushing pastors, Dance Star Production dancers, Cushing firefighters and maybe even a CHS coach or two riding the trained donkeys! Who wouldn’t want to see that! Children under the age of 12 will be able to ride a donkey at halftime!
Tickets are available in advance for only $8 at the following locations: CHS Office, Simpson’s Gym and Ahrberg Mill. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $10. The game begins at 6 p.m. in the Cushing Upper Elementary (CUE) gymnasium.
Project Graduation is a way to provide a safe and fun graduation night for CHS Seniors.
