According to Cushing Chamber of Commerce president Marc White, Bob Felts has agreed to “fill in the gap” left by Bobby Bryant’s sudden departure. Felts will serve as interim director of the Cushing Chamber of Commerce.
Felts, who recently retired from his position as executive director of Cushing’s Economic Development, comes with plenty of experience and will be assisted by another recent retiree – Willeeta Shields-Smith. Shields was a long-time employee at Bank of Cushing.
White told KUSH the duo will be a great help while the hiring process is underway – especially with the upcoming Festival in the Park, October 10th.
Bryant submitted his resignation to Cushing Chamber of Commerce Board members via email on Monday, Aug. 31st.
