This week’s Neighbor of the Week honor goes to Paul and Phyllis Scouten. An anonymous submitter had this to say about the Scoutens:
“Paul and Phyllis are the most caring people in Cushing. They do SO many things for people – looking after their elderly friends and doing what needs to be done for them. They are the BEST!”
While visiting with the Scoutens, we learned Phyllis has been looking out for some of her elderly neighbors for years – and Paul often does odd jobs for some of those same people. From the smiles on their faces, it was apparent it is something they both enjoy.
