Members of the Class of 1959 met Sunday morning at the old Cushing High School grounds to take a moment and remember their classmates who have passed away.
The solemn ceremony took place in front of the CHS memorial with classmates first reading the name and placing a red rose for each one and sharing memories of them. They also rang the bell after reading each name.
A total of 32 names were called in remembrance. Those are:

Many CHS Class of 1959 alumni were in town celebrating their 50th anniversary. Classmates met throughout the weekend sharing stories and memories.
2009 also marks the Silver Anniversary of the Alumni Association.
