Kerry Simpson is working as a physical Therapist for Amedisys Home Health Services. Amedisys is a provider of home health care and hospice services, with agencies located across the US and Puerto Rico. The company began in 1982. Some of the services they provide are, skilled nursing, Home Health Aides, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Social Workers, wound care, pain management – just to mention a few. Now days, the Home Health industries is a continually growing trend because of expenses of long term hospital stays and the luxury of being able to be cared for in the comfort of your own home.  Amedisys have the highest of standards and are dedicated to improving their patient’s quality of life. Their closest office is located in Stroud at 404 W. Main Street. The fact that Kerry Simpson works for them just proves to me, they have to be one of the best. However, I have personally seen him in action, working, so I can say that honestly. Now, because of that law, I cannot say who his patient is, but I will tell you that he is always very professional and thorough and on the same hand very kind, patient, and persistent. Kerry always has a huge smile on his face and he gets teased a lot that he looks like a kid. I have met some of the nurses from Amedisys as well and just like Kerry, they are always helpful, attentive, clearly enjoying their jobs and extremely professional. Amedisys is a service your never really expect to need, but if you ever do, I would highly recommend their services. You can find out a lot more on their web site at www.amedisys.com or give them a call at 918-968-1179.

So, back to Kerry Simpson…  A half hour is not long to visit; especially when Amedisys is such a huge company, with a long list of services, and really what we were supposed to be talking about. Therefore, for a change I did not delve too much into his personal life, simply because we ran out of time. I do know he has three boys and a brand new grandbaby. Most of us know his mother Barbara Rollins, owner of Cimarron Hearing Aide Center. I called her the day before to let her know he was going to be on the show because he did not tell her the last time he was on our show. Kerry is modest and humble. We both wished our mothers a Happy Mothers Day. His brother Kasey Simpson owns and operates Simpson Chiropractic Clinic. That was about all I could drag out of him. Hopefully he will be on the show again and we will get more personal details for you all. I think all of you will really like the picture I am posting of Kerry. You might want to look again. Some of you may not know, Kerry Simpson is a cancer survivor and he was sporting his brand new Relay for Life T-shirt the day of the show.  Kerry said had about four clients to take care of and then he would attend the Relay for Life event that the city of Cushing is so proud of hosting every year.

Kerry, thank you for being what Mr. Kelly calls, another victim, on my show. You’re the best! Even that patient, that I can’t mention her name says, you’re soooo sweet.
