It has come to the attention of KUSH that the food ministry program at the First Christian Church in Cushing has come to an end.
The ministry through Share Colorado was intended to help those trying to stretch their food dollars, however in recent months participation had dropped off significantly.
“I bring bittersweet news that First Christian Church has ended our Food Ministry program,” program director Mike Howell told KUSH. “After months of consideration and prayer, we reached the conclusion that this ministry has reached its end. Our last distribution was last Saturday (March 21).”
