Glenna (Horrell) Osborn, a longtime Oilton resident, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at her home at the age of 59 years.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Oilton and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2009 in the First Baptist Church in Oilton. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Oilton, OK.

The daughter of Loren Horrell and Betty (Posey) Horrell, Glenna was born on February 27, 1949 in Cushing. She was reared and educated in Oilton, graduating from Oilton High School with the class of 1967.

She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Oilton for over 40 years and in her spare time she enjoyed fishing, camping, caring for children and working jig-saw puzzles. Glenna baby sat in her home for numerous years until her fight with Muscular Dystrophy prevented her from caring for children any longer.

Glenna is survived by her two daughters, Ginger Osborn of Oilton and Gayla Gilmore and her husband David of Oilton; mother Betty Smith of Oilton; one sister, Danelia Barnes and her husband Tim of Oilton; one grandson, Tyler Gilmore of Oilton; one granddaughter, Katlin Gilmore of Oilton; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Horrell, grandparents, Walter Posey, Sr. and Nola Posey, and one sister, Terri J. Strader.
