(Cushing) – The 26th Annual Cushing Community Thanksgiving Dinner saw a big turnout, and hundreds of Thanksgiving meals delivered by volunteers. No exact count is available, but approximately 250 people turned out to share in the meal and fellowship at the Cushing High School Field house, and about 200 meals were delivered. The annual dinner has become a tradition in Cushing. The event has been organized each year by Cushing Veterinarian Dr. Gary Detrich and an army of volunteers.
