The Cushing Board of Commissioners meeting began on a positive note Monday as Mayor John Henckel recognized city employee Doug Biswell for his “four year journey” to receive his journeyman lineman license. “It took 8,000 hours and 41 tests for Doug to get this license,” Mayor Henckel said. “That’s a lot of hours.” Mike Harris – Biswell’s supervisor – presented him with the certificate of completion.
