Shannon T. Lamb
February 20, 1982 - December 17, 2024

Shannon Thomas Lamb, known affectionately as Shannon to his family and friends, passed away at the age of 42 on December 17, 2024, following a motorcycle accident in Cushion, Oklahoma.

Born on February 20, 1982, in Gainesville, Florida, Shannon grew into a man known for his zest for life and his outgoing personality. Shannon's early years were spent in the sunshine of Florida where he developed a love for the outdoors and the freedom of the open road. His passion for life was infectious, and he made friends wherever he went. Shannon's love for riding motorcycles was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his philosophy to embrace every moment with enthusiasm and courage. As the years went by, Shannon channeled his adventurous spirit into his work as a heavy equipment operator. His dedication to his craft earned him respect and admiration from his colleagues. Shannon's work was not just a job; it was a testament to his belief in the value of hard work and the importance of contributing to something greater than oneself.

He was also actively involved in his professional association, where he made significant contributions through his participation and leadership. Shannon's brothers, Benjy, Kevin, and Benny, remember him as the glue that held the family together. His presence was a source of joy and laughter at family gatherings, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Shannon's ability to light up a room and lift the spirits of those around him will be remembered as his lasting legacy. In his leisure time, Shannon was never one to sit still. He believed in making the most of every day, a belief encapsulated in his favorite quote by Helen Keller: "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Shannon lived by these words, seeking adventure and joy in all he did, and encouraging others to do the same. Shannon's passing leaves a void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be remembered as a man who lived life to the fullest, who loved deeply, and who brought happiness to those around him.

His adventurous spirit and kind heart will continue to inspire those who were touched by his life. Shannon's life was a journey filled with laughter, love, and the roar of a motorcycle engine under a vast, open sky. He will be missed, but the memories he created will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to accompany him on the ride of life.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A celebration of Shannon’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel.
