Philip Eugene Payne

Philip Eugene Payne, 62, of Coyle, OK passed on March 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on September 16, 1958 in Shawnee, OK to Raymond Thomas Payne and Edna Arizona (Brown) Payne, both deceased.



His loving survivors include his wife of 42 years, Freda Amelia “Millie” Daniel Payne, of the home; a son, Thomas Daniel Payne and spouse Frankie Somarriba of Port St. Lucie, FL; another son, Derry Mac Matheson and spouse Terry of Coyle, OK. One grandson, Elijah Thomas Payne and fiancé Holly Imry of Tryon, OK. Two granddaughters, Maddy and Kaley Matheson of Coyle, OK; one brother, Clarence W. Payne of Oklahoma City, OK, two sisters, Dixie Payne McNutt of Macomb, OK, Nyla Jo Payne Watkins and spouse Dean of Riverside, WA and brother-in-law Michael Ridings of Washington. Also surviving is his beloved second mom Donna Daniel of Titusville, FL; three sisters-in-law and spouses: Charlene Ebert and Rick of Sitka, AK, Jimmie Harlin and Blake of Wellston, OK and Caroline Trimmer and Brien of Titusville, FL; one brother-in-law David Daniel and Kristina of Frisco, TX and many nieces, nephews, one aunt and uncle, and many cousins.



Those preceding him in death includes a much loved and mourned daughter, Stephanie Rae Payne; two brothers, Tommy M. Payne and Virgil R. Payne; one sister, Cheryl Payne Ridings and his second father Jim Daniel.



Philip had a loving heart and a huge capacity for caring. His love of music was a great part of his life and he played the guitar and saxophone.



As a Christian, he not only tried to live by Bible principles but talking and singing about his faith was important to him.



Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Yale. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Lawson Cemetery with Reverend Randell Newby officiating.
