Betty Jean Murphy (Wonderly) Drumright, OK

Betty was born in Kendrick, Oklahoma on November 21, 1934 to the late Ralph Omar Wonderly & Edith Pearl (Hale) Wonderly. She passed from this life in Tulsa on December 21, 2024 at the age of 90 years, & 1 month. Betty was raised and educated in Kendrick & Stroud, Oklahoma. She married George Thomas Murphy on February 16, 1956 in Stroud, Oklahoma & they made their home in Cushing. In 1962 they moved to Big Spring, Texas where they resided for 62 years. Betty was an avid golfer and she and her husband would travel to many places to play golf. She also loved to read and had a very strong faith; attending the Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring, Texas. She had just recently been a resident of Drumright Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: George “Pat” Murphy; a Son: Jeffrey Ralph Murphy; & 4 Sisters.

She leaves behind a Nephew: Larry & Kay Murphy of Drumright; plus numerous other relatives.
