Meet Phoenix – a 3-year-old male cat. Given up by his previous owner because she couldn’t take him with her, Phoenix was very scared and unsure when he first came to Cimarron Valley Humane Society.
In just three weeks, when he wouldn’t even allow anyone to pet him, Phoenix has come to enjoy sleeping with his current caretaker and loves to be petted!
He can’t get enough love and enjoys being around people and doesn’t even seem to mind dogs and other cats – as long as they don’t bother him.
However, since loud noises and sudden movements startle him, Phoenix would do best in a home without children and other animals.
