Patricia (Pat) Ann Sneed Gazaway, the wife of Roy Lee Gazaway for 53 years and the daughter of Leroy and Daisy Sneed went home to meet the Lord on May 30th, 2011.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Yale and will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2011 in the First Assembly of God Church in Yale with Reverend Tim McGough and Reverend Randell Newby officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery, Yale, OK.
Pat lived a life that was dedicated to her Lord and her family. She was the adult Sunday school teacher at the Yale First Assembly of God Church and loved all of her class. In her spare time she loved spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughters Jaidyn and Tynlee, who were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her father Leroy Sneed and baby brother Paul Brain.
She is survived by her husband Roy Lee Gazaway of the home; four daughters, Kathy Benson and husband Mike of Yale, Teresa Sturgeon and husband Rodney of Gentry AR, Carol Squires and husband Tim of Yale, and Cheryl Stewart and husband Scott of Yukon OK; ten grandchildren, Rusty Sturgeon, Justin Holloway and wife Lindsey, Rebecca Benson, Todd Sturgeon, Travis Holloway and family, Jeremy Benson, Patricia (Sturgeon) Sanderson and husband Terry, Cody Gazaway, Lance Gazaway and family, and Tasha Stewart; great granddaughters, Jaidyn and Tynlee; mother, Daisy Sneed; sister Barbara Sherman; three brothers, Leslie Sneed and wife Rita, Richard Sneed and wife Beverly, and Mark Sneed and wife Linda and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat’s greatest wish was that all would know her Lord and Savior. She is now resting in heaven and is in no more pain. She ran a good fight and has attained her victory!
