(Cushing) — Cushing Police Chief Terry Brannon told KUSH today that there is no new information into the weekend burglary at Mac’s Time Shop over the weekend. Investigators say that a suspect or suspects entered the store by first breaking into a vacant building just west of the store by breaking the door mechanism. Once inside, the burglars took jewelry, cash and a firearm. The amount of the loss has still not been determined. Brannon says the public can help by reporting any information to police, and a one thousand dollar Crimestoppers reward has been established for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. People can report information anonymously at 918-225-1212.

Police believe the crime occurred sometime between Saturday evening and Monday morning. It was reported to police by the store owner Monday morning after he arrived to open the store.
