Johnny Rockney Kanady, age 62 of Holdenville, OK. passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2011 at the Integris Seminole Medical Center in Seminole. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, OK. Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, OK. Brother Fred Britton will officiate.

Johnny was born on September 13, 1948 in Cushing, OK, to Nolan and Lois (Brooks) Kanady. Johnny grew up in the Agra and Cushing area most of his life and attended Agra High School.
Johnny is survived by his Mother Lois Kanady of Cushing, brothers Don Kanady and wife Joyce of Corpus Christi, Tx., Steve Kanady and wife Linda of Cushing, David Kanady and wife Edith of Paden, OK. And one sister Lawanna Kelley and husband Corbett of Sapulpa, OK. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Nolan Kanady.
