David Lynn Varnell, age 48, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Mannford, OK.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel with Ralph Hickman officiating.
The son of Kenneth Varnell and Wanda (Barnett) Varnell, David was born on August 18, 1962 in Tulsa, OK.
He had worked as a mechanic in the oilfield for several years and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing.
David is survived by his wife Tammye; one son, Alfred Anderson; several step-children, including Dezarae Greer of Mannford, OK, Kayla Atchison of Cushing, and Hanna Atchison of Cushing; one brother, Dennis Varnell and his wife Susanne of Cushing; mother, Wanda Lehmann and her husband William; father, Kenneth Varnell and his wife Dorothy; one step-grandson, Taytin Minney of Mannford; one niece, Kayla Varnell; and other relatives and friends.
