(Cushing, Okla.)  Cimarron Valley Humane Society(CVHS) is announcing Adoption Day, Saturday April 2nd at Atwood’s in Cushing.  CVHS will not only have pets to be adopted but valuable information for pet owners and pet lovers.

“We want to provide residents of Cushing information as to how to keep their pets safe and out of the ‘pound’ – such as tags, etc.” said Rebecca Stowers.

Stowers also wants to remind pet owners that spring is here and “love” is in the air.  “Critters are thinking about making babies,” she said.  “A fenced yard or your female (dog) on a chain is not birth control.  For some reason MALE dogs don’t respect property lines and they can’t read the KEEP OUT signs!”

Low cost spay and neutering may be available to you for your pet.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Rebecca at 918-225-3785.

If you are interested in adopting a pet, providing a foster home or making a donation to Cimarron Valley Humane Society, please call Terri Grove at 918-225-7766.
