(Cushing, Okla.)  The results are in for the Charity Golf Event held to raise funds for paramedic scholarships.  The event which raised $11,000, was sponsored by Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation and Cushing Masonic Lodge #111.

Even through the cold and wind on May 14, 23 teams were on the Cushing Country Club Golf Course at 8 AM ready for the official T-Off for the 4th annual Charity Golf Event sponsored by the Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation and the Cushing Masonic Lodge # 111.

This is the 4th year for the event.  It was established to raise funds to educate our local EMTs to Paramedic Levels.  In 2011,  over 40 businesses and individuals donated to raise $11,000 to be used for the scholarships.

Prizes were awarded for A and B Flights, Women & Men Closest to the Pin and Women and Men Longest Drive.  Winners from A Flight are:  1st place is Rodolfo’s made up of Daniel Hernandez, Jimmie Hernandez, Scott House, and Donnie Jones:  2nd Place is Bank of Cushing made up of Russell Moyer, Mike Gaskins, Russ Ringgenberg & Brian Dudgen;  3rd Place is Joe & Kay Smith Farms made up of Joe E. Smith, Joe smith II, Brent Kerr & David Clovis.

B Flight Winners are:  1st Place is Gilkerson made up of Steve Shiever, Matt Shiever, Mitch Shiever and Dale Viet:  2nd Place is Central Technology made up of Phil Waul, Ron Dyer, Kent Burris and Mark Brown:  3rd Place is Sertco/Bell made up of Angie Vaughn, Tony Vaughn, Dustin Bell and Robert Bell.

Lady’s Longest Drive was won by Tammy Wasson and Lady’s Closet to the Pin went to Annie Hernandez.  Men’s Longest Drive went to David Clovis and Men’s Closet to the Pin went to Dennis Perkins.

Lee Roy Kalka Agency sponsored a putting contest for $2500.  There was not a grand prize winner, but the top 5 putters were Rodger Floyd, Russ Moyer, Daniel Hernandez, Jared Escott, and Robert Bell.
