(Stillwater, Okla.) -- A Cushing man and woman who live together in the 400 block of S. Harrison Street were arraigned Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing one pound of marijuana within 2,000 feet of Harrison Elementary School on Tuesday.

Anthony John Kantor, 47, and Kemberly Dawn Burtrum, 36, remain in the Payne County Jail in lieu of posting $15,000 bond each on a three-count drug charge. They were due to return to court today with attorneys.

They were also charged Wednesday with possessing marijuana without a tax stamp and having drug paraphernalia listed as a gallon ziplock baggy containing marijuana, a set of gravity scales, two smoking pipes with residue, rolling papers, and a one-gallon ziplock baggy, all on Tuesday.

If convicted of all three counts, they could be sentenced to life in prison plus six years and fined $411,000 each, according to the charge filed Wednesday by prosecutor Jack Bowyer.
