Oh Deer! Chamber Presents Y.E.S.S. Award to Cushing Police Officers

(Cushing, Okla.)  The Cushing Chamber of Commerce presented two of Cushing's finest the Y.E.S.S. award for their help after a deer broke through the glass window of the Chamber office.  Chamber president Toni Vieyra nominated Cushing police Sgt. Charles Claxton and Officer Jerrod Livergood.

According to reports, the deer was believed to have been clipped by a vehicle causing it to be disoriented.  The deer crashed through the front window of the Chamber and retreated down Main where it met its demise near Taco Mayo.

The officers were commended by Vieyra for securing the place.  "We really appreciate all your help," Vieyra said.
