(Cushing, Okla) - The Cushing Tiger Basketball teams hosted Perry in only their second home game of the year, and scored a split with the Maroons.
The Lady Tigers, ranked 7th this week by OKRANKINGS.com soundly defeated the Lady Maroons 65-33. Che'Ron Lewis had 28 points to lead Cushing.
Cushing's boys were tied with Perry at half-time at 20, but got down by as many as 11 in the 2nd half. The Tigers managed to get back within two points with under a minute left in the game at 44-42, but could not get late shots to drop from either the free throw line or the field and fell 46-42.
Next action for Cushing is Friday at home against Mannford.
