(Mannford, Okla) - The Cushing Tiger basketball teams split with Mannford in Tuesday night action on the road. The Lady Tigers jumped to a big lead with scoring from Mariah Burris and ChaRon Lewis who both finished in double digits, and defeated Mannford 56-27.
Cushing's boys team was close throughout, and led at halftime 28-24. Mannford hit a buzzer beater at the end of the 2nd and third quarters, both of which were three pointers, to give the Pirates some momentum in the 2nd. Mannford pulled away to win 59-51.
Next action for Cushing will be back in Mannford for the Keystone Classic Tournament.
