T. C. Braswell, age 84 of Yale, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church, Yale.  Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday at Marysville Cemetery, Mt. Holly, Arkansas.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Ok.

T. C. was born on September 7, 1927 in Mt. Holly, Arkansas to the late Allen and Gertrude (White) Braswell.  He grew up in Mt. Holly and graduated from Mt. Holly High School in 1945.  T.C. married Nancy Hendricks on May 12, 1950 in Buckner, Ar., to this union Mike, Tim and Alicia were born.    T.C. worked for Phillip's Pipeline for 38 years as a Instrument Technician.  He worked all over Texas and Oklahoma and ended up in Cushing, Ok.

T.C. was a 32 degree Mason with the Old Ocean Lodge #1284.  He was a past member of the Optimist Club and had also served as a Volunteer Fireman in Alvin, Texas for 5 years.  He married Frances Greteman on November 20, 1974 in Houston, Texas.  They made their home in Yale, Oklahoma.  He was very active with the Yale Senior Citizens and was a supporter of the FFA.  He was a farmer and loved working with his cattle a "Gentleman Rancher".  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his sons Mike Braswell and wife Dale of Ellinger, Texas, Tim Braswell and wife Teresa of Laverne, Ok., daughter Alicia Ingle of Edmond, brother I.N. Braswell and wife Lola of Mt. Holly, Ar., sisters Kathleen Howell and husband Hugh of Mt. Holly, Ar., Carolyn Watkins of El Dorado, Ar., five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Frances Braswell, sister-in-law Martha Braswell, Brother-in-law Red Watkins, son-in-law Don Ingle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yale FFA or the First United Methodist Church-Building Fund in Yale.
