(Cushing, Okla.)  The Canadian Valley Rangerettes will return to Cushing to share their high paced, synchronized equestrian drill routines with audiences at the 2011 Cushing PRCA Rodeo.

The Canadian Valley Rangerettes, Mustang, OK, were organized in 1968 and it is estimated that this team is the longest running Equestrian Drill team in the State of Oklahoma.  The Rangerettes made their first public debut at Frontier City in August of 1969.  Since then they have been thrilling audiences wherever they perform.

In 2007, they won the title of USEDC National Open Drill Champions.  In 2008 they successfully defended their USEDC National Open Drill Championship title, at the Super Ride VI held in Tyler, Texas.  The Rangerettes are known as the first drill team in the USEDC history to win back to back national drill team championships.

In July 2008, they swept the OKEDA Region 4 Competition in Duncan, OK and in June 2009, the Rangerettes brought home their 3rd consecutive title of Rodeo Division National Championship.

In 2008 and 2009 the Rangerettes also captured one of the most prestigious awards in the USEDC Super Ride - the SportsQuest Cup Award.

The Rangerette's mission is "to promote the participation of women who enjoy horseback riding and to preserve the art of the Equestrian Drill."  Over the past 40 years, many girls have proudly worn the well-known red, white and blue, and will continue to do so in the future.
