Ruth Maxine Baker age 80 formerly of Perkins passed away Thursday morning, March 11, 2010 in Del City, Oklahoma.  Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, OK.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the First Baptist Church, Yale, OK with Dr. D. Grant Wyse officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery, Yale, OK.

    Ruth Maxine Baker was born on February 24, 1930 in Maramec, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Riley and Mae (Wilson) Willard.  She grew up and attended school in Maramec.  She moved to Yale where she lived for a short time.  Ruth married Lee Troy McMillan, he preceded her in death.  She later married Jerry Williams, he also preceded her in death.    She lived in Perkins for about twenty-five years.  Ruth married William Baker on September 27, 1997.   They enjoyed listening to music on Weekends at the Senior Citizens Center in Perkins, Oklahoma.  She and her sister ran a video store in Coyle and later in Perkins.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Ruth is survived son Max McMillan and wife Sheree  of Midwest City; a daughter, Trisha Welsh and husband Cecil of Sparks; one sister Thelma Smith of Noble; five grandchildren, Steve McMillan, John Snow, Frankie Doutey, Chad McMillan and Melissa Ashley; thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

    Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Dana McMillan; and husbands, Lee Troy McMillan and Jerry Williams and brothers Dewey Willard, Elmer Willard, Clellan Willard and Vernon Willard, sister Bonnie Blumer.
