Dena Floyd, Rotarian Of The Day met up with fellow members for Thursday's weekly meeting of the Rotary Club at the Steer Inn, which was indeed a informative "show and tell" type presentation of a ancient art being preserved by local retired postman and craftsman of primitive archery, Elmer Ledgerwood.

NAPA Receives YESS Award for Exemplary Service


Dan and Marilyn Shotwell had an electrical issue with their vehicle and were impressed when Cody Lovelace, counter sales person at NAPA, drove to their country home to come to their aid.  It was that special treatment that led the Shotwells to nominate NAPA and Lovelace for the Cushing Chamber of Commerce YESS award. 

Ribbon Cutting at J-Man's Sports Replay


Cushing Chamber of Commerce hosted at ribbon cutting for J-Man's Sports Replay, 106 N. Harrison, on Monday.  Named for their son, 9-year-old Jordan, Stuart and Lori Butler recently added the new business, which has an array of new and used sports equipment, at their existing business, Stu's Music, location.
