It was emotional to watch these ladies and their coach together again in
what would be one of their last appearances as a family of sorts, at a recent Rotary Club meeting. After
a hard fought season, the CHS Varsity squad battled their way to State Finals only to see the 4A Class title slip through their
fingers.
The Cushing 10 & under baseball team will have a Hamburger Dinner this Friday, March 15th from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Cushing Youth Center Community Room. Dinner includes a hamburger, baked beans, chips, dessert and drink for just $7.
The Semi Finals in Bethany against Fort Gibson, dashed the Cushing lady Tigers dream of going to the championship game, however, our lady tigers end the season in top 5 of 4A Class Girls Basketball in Oklahoma.

LADY TIGERS DEFEAT HARRAH LADY PANTHERS - MOVING ON TO SEMI FINAL GAME AGAINST FORT GIBSON - IN STATE PLAYOFFS - FRIDAY EVENING AT 8 PM.
In the match directly following the Cushing/Harrah game, thus determining who the lady tigers play tomorrow evening at 8 pm, #2 ranked Fort Gibson has defeated #5 ranked Weatherford according to the OSSAA bracket update, Fort Gibson will now play the lady tigers Friday evening in Bethany for the golden ticket to the "Big House", in the final game of the state playoffs on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm for State Championship.

Tiger fans, players, coaches and those tuning in by way of radio, phone or computer - stayed on the edge of their seats throughout the entire match between the lady tigers and the lady commandos of Cascia Hall in Skiatook! Not once did tiger fans take a break nor the lady tigers as they remained in a dead heat battle for the area championship and their ticket to take the big ride - 72 miles west - to state playoffs in OKC!
The Cushing lady tigers defeated Victory Christian in Catoosa in the District/Regional playoffs Saturday evening to move on to Area Playoffs in Skiatook against Cascia Hall this coming Friday, March 1, at 6:30 pm.
The Cushing boys varsity basketball team played Vinita in Catoosa Friday afternoon - hoping to continue in the Consolation bracket. The Cushing tigers fought a hard core match but in the end, they fell short of continuing in the play offs. The girls will play Victory Christian on Saturday evening at 6:30 in Catoosa.
The boys varsity squad won against Sequoyah Claremore yesterday afternoon in the Consolation bracket and will play today at 3 pm in Catoosa against Vinita.

What a night for tiger basketball in Cleveland! The varsity teams took on Cleveland Saturday night, trying to go for (6) back to back wins for both teams -- in the end, making the trip back to Cushing a celebration!
