He may take a lot of ribbing about his name (pronounced K - NO) but his performance became a quick favorite Thursday as Bruce Knoch performed on the Donna and Molly Show. Thoughtful Thursday aka Local Music Day is fast becoming THE day to showcase some of the top musicians in the Cimarron Valley.
Dr. Robert Melton Scheduled on Donna and Molly Show
Local dentist, Dr. Robert Melton is scheduled to appear on the Thoughtful Thursday episode of the Donna and Molly Show, Aug. 12 at 7:45 a.m. Dr. Melton, Drumright Dental Center owner, will be talking about the upcoming Advanced Dental Assisting School being offered at their state-of-the-art facility.
Tonight's the Night...
Back in the summer of 1977 Donna and Molly were only listening to 1600 KUSH Radio and singing Rod Stewart, "Tonight's the night...it's gonna be alright..." Fast forward to Aug. 6, 2010...the song is still the same, but my how things have changed!

Cushing High School student Meghan Beede has almost completed her
second year as Cushing Community PRCA Rodeo Queen. Beede first won the
title in 2007 and then returned to win it again in 2009.

Donna couldn't believe it when she read this recipe in the Tulsa World. Black beans in brownies? Crazy thought, but evidently it not only supplies the brownie eater with extra protein and nutrients, but they taste good!

CVHS Gives Practical Tips for Pet Owners
-There has been a lot of "Pet Talk" lately - not only on the Donna and Molly Show, but around town. Many people are/were unaware that if your pet is picked up by the Animal Control Officer it is up to you to contact Animal Welfare as soon as possible. Pets have only 72 hours to be claimed or put up for adoption or euthanized.
Top Aerobatic Pilot To Be Interviewed On Donna And Molly Show
Tune in to the Donna and Molly Show Wednesday, June 16th to hear as Lt. Col. John Klatt talks about his experiences as one of America's top aerobatic pilots. He will be interviewed at approximately 8:10 a.m. on 1600 KUSH Radio. LTC Klatt will be performing at Tinker Air Force Base, June 19 -20.
Current Habitat House Family Anxious To Move In
The current Habitat home under construction since July 4, 2009, stands incomplete to date. The Donna and Molly Show will address the delays and hopefully have a Habitat committee member or two present to help answer the questions and needs concerning the current house project by Habitat for Humanity, located at 1122 E. Maple in Cushing.
So Long For Now
School is out for summer, therefore Tiger Time is on hiatus. It has been a great pleasure getting to know our high school students this year and we look forward to reconnecting this fall.
